ECO Series Fluorescence and Turbidity Probe
Compared with the traditional laboratory spectrophotometry, the fluorescence method for measuring chlorophyll has the characteristics of fast response, high measurement resolution, low sample demand, and in-situ real-time measurement, which is favored by scientists at home and abroad. However, in situ fluorescence analysis is also affected by many factors such as external light intensity and fluorescence quenching. The ECO series of fluorescence and turbidity analyzers from WET Labs has an automatic modulation function, which can effectively filter the interference of the out-of-bound light. At the same time, with the turbidity sensor, it can effectively correct the signal attenuation of field monitoring during the daytime caused by fluorescence quenching and other reasons To improve accuracy, the principle is as follows: the instrument light source flashes 16 times per second, the instrument signal + external light signal is measured when the instrument light source is on, and the external light source signal is measured when the instrument light source is dark, average and subtract the external light After the signal is output, it can effectively filter the interference of the outer optical signal.
