Principle of analysis
The instrument adopts ultraviolet light / persulfate oxidation method.
The sample is first acidified to oxidize the total inorganic carbon (TIC) in the water to carbon dioxide; then the carrier gas is used to blow out the carbon dioxide; then persulfate is added to the water sample and oxidized with ultraviolet light (UV). TOC) is completely oxidized to carbon dioxide; then the carrier gas is used to bring the carbon dioxide into the infrared detector (NDIR) to detect the carbon dioxide concentration and convert the TOC concentration.
