1. Project Background
In response to environmental protection policy requirements, a chemical park in Zhejiang Province has launched a sewage quality improvement project to enhance wastewater treatment capacity. The project's service scope covers industrial wastewater and domestic sewage treatment within the park, with a total designed scale of 7,500 m³/d, constructed in two phases (Phase I 5,000 m³/d, Phase II 2,500 m³/d). After completion, the effluent quality will strictly comply with the Class A standard of the "Pollutant Discharge Standard for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants" (GB18918-2002) and the relevant limits of Zhejiang Province's local standard "Discharge Standard of Major Water Pollutants for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants" (DB33/2169-2018).
2. Construction Content
Online monitoring devices such as sludge concentration meters, orthophosphate analyzers, NH3-N meters, and NO3-N meters are deployed in each process unit of wastewater treatment (hydrolysis acidification tank, biochemical tank, secondary sedimentation tank, Fenton tank, advanced treatment area, etc.) to monitor key process parameters in real time, providing timely and reliable data support for process optimization.
Equipped with precision instruments such as BOD meters, rapid method COD meters, spectrophotometers, as well as portable dissolved oxygen meters and turbidity meters for quick use, meeting the needs of regular self-testing for wastewater treatment plants and ensuring safe production and normal operation.
Online automatic monitoring instruments for pH, total phosphorus, and total nitrogen are installed at the inlet and drainage outlets, combined with laboratory analysis, to build a comprehensive influent and outlet water quality monitoring system to ensure all indicators meet discharge standards.

3. Project significance
The project has successfully completed installation and commissioning, and the equipment has been operating in good condition since installation. The project has built a comprehensive water quality monitoring system supporting the chemical park's wastewater treatment plant, including online monitoring of process sections, influent and outlet monitoring, and laboratory analysis equipment, covering the entire wastewater treatment process. This not only enables precise monitoring of multiple key water quality indicators but also effectively improves the park's environmental management level.
