Measuring principle
This precise sensor is made in Switzerland and uses the same pressure sensing element as the Adcon LEV1 water level sensor.
The internal piezoresistive sensing element is fully temperature compensated, with an accuracy of 0.1% over the entire range. According to WMO requirements, the sensor is sealed in a sturdy polycarbonate housing to prevent the sensor from producing incorrect readings due to wind gusts. In addition, the sensor is also equipped with a vent to ensure that the pressure inside and outside the housing is the same, while preventing moisture intrusion.
