The sensor is installed to the top of Lance and repair is free. The probe is IP67. To protect the cable from rodent and other forms of mechanical damage, the first 200 cm is made of a highly flexible stainless steel jacket.
 
The length can be customized to a depth of 100 cm (39.4 inches).
