Measuring principle
Surface Scatter 7 sc is a turbidity meter that uses the principle of scattered light monitoring. The sample flows into the inclined turbidimeter body at a flow rate of 1 to 2 liters per minute, and the liquid overflows the horizontal surface at the top of the turbidimeter body to form a flat measurement plane. A strong light beam hits the liquid surface at an angle. The suspended particles in the sample emit scattered light. A detector placed above the liquid surface detects 90 degrees of scattered light.
