Measuring principle
The piston pump inside the instrument generates compressed air, flows through a special airflow line, and enters the air chamber at a set interval. In the air chamber, bubbles bubble up evenly into the groundwater.
The relationship between the groundwater level (h) on the bubble chamber hole and the hydrostatic pressure (P) in the measuring tube is as follows:
Then, assuming that the density of the liquid remains unchanged, there is a certain linear relationship between the measurement liquid level and the air pressure in the measurement tube. By measuring the air pressure in the measuring tube, the current water level can be converted. This is the basic principle of the bubble water level gauge to measure the liquid level.
The professionally designed air chamber can keep the air pressure in the tube stable, eliminate small changes in air pressure caused by fluctuations in the water surface, and prevent the air tube from entering or blocking.
The energy pump can measure the air pressure in the tube before each measurement. Only when the air pressure changes greatly, the air is pumped to reduce the loss of the air pump and extend the service life of the air pump.
Application range
Various water level measuring stations
Rivers, lakes, reservoirs, groundwater, wetlands, dams / bridges / dam entrances, sluices, etc.
Rock foundation, tidal well which may freeze or block
Short-term measurement
When the water level does not change more than 15/30 meters.
