typical application
The ozone analyzer is suitable for ozone disinfection monitoring in drinking water, sewage, industrial process water and pure water industries.
Instrument characteristics
● Ozone analyzer adopts selective membrane electrode;
● No interference from PH, chlorine, bromine, chlorine dioxide or hydrogen peroxide in the sample;
● The process of replacing the membrane takes only a few seconds;
Detection principle
The detection principle of the ozone analyzer: O3 is reduced on the gold electrode (cathode): O3 + H2O + 2e-→ O2 + 2OH-
On the silver reference electrode (anode): silver is oxidized to: Ag +, reacts with bromide ion in the electrolyte: 2Br- + 2Ag → 2AgBr + 2e-
The amount of reduction of O3 on the cathode produces a current proportional to the concentration of O3.
