The Polymetron 9610SC online silicon meter is a high-precision silicate analyzer launched by Hasch, designed specifically for high-purity water quality monitoring in industries such as power and chemicals. This instrument enables continuous and accurate monitoring of silica content, with low reagent consumption, and is equipped with an intelligent pre-diagnostic system to reliably ensure silicon content control in key water quality areas such as boiler water, feedwater, and condensate.

Working Principle:

The Polymetron 9610SC silicate analyzer monitors water quality by measuring the concentration of silica in water samples. Silica in the water sample reacts with molybdate ions under acidic conditions to form silicomolybdate complexes. Oxalic acid is added to break down phosphate complexes, and ammonium ferrous sulfate reagent is added to turn yellow silicolybdate into blue. The Polymetron 9610SC silicate analyzer is used at a wavelength of 815nm to detect color changes in the sample, with color intensity proportional to silica concentration. The Polymetron 9610SC online silicon meter uses colorimetric analysis to detect and calculate silicon dioxide concentration values.
