The SOLITAX sc Online Suspended Solids Monitor is a high-performance multi-parameter water quality analyzer launched by Hashe. It uses dual-beam infrared and scattered light photometers to measure turbidity and suspended solids. This suspended solids detector eliminates color interference with 880nm near-infrared light. It is a multi-range, fast-responding, self-cleaning online suspended solids monitor suitable for various water quality monitoring scenarios.

Working Principle:

The SOLITAX sc online suspended solids monitor is based on advanced light scattering principles and achieves precise measurement through a dual-detector system:

• Optical emission and scattering

  The instrument's built-in LED light source emits 880nm near-infrared light, illuminating the water sample at a 45° angle, with suspended particles scattering the light.

• Dual signal detection

  Detectors in the 90° direction receive scattered light signals for turbidity measurement; The 140° backward detector is specifically designed for detecting high-concentration suspended solids (sludge).

• Intelligent signal processing

  The system calculates the signal intensity ratio of the detector before and after to automatically compensate for color interference, and outputs accurate turbidity and suspended solids concentration values.
