Working Principle:

The HACH BioTector B7000 TOC Online Total Organic Carbon Analyzer is a TOC detection analyzer with excellent technical performance. During measurement, acid is first added to the water sample to lower the pH, then inorganic carbon is blown out in the form of CO2 to detect total inorganic carbon (TIC).

This TOC detector uses Secondary Oxidation Technology (TSAO) to oxidize the sample, fully converting the organic carbon and inorganic carbonates into CO2, then lowering the sample's pH again to blow out the CO2, which is then measured by the NDIRCO2 detector. The results are presented as total organic carbon (TOC).
