Product Overview:

The HACH QL3580 is a dedicated online TOC instrument for pollution source outlets and industrial water quality. It uses "UV persulfate + hydroxyl radical" for enhanced oxidation + NDIR detection, capable of measuring TOC (non-volatile organic carbon), TIC (total inorganic carbon), and can also convert COD. Suitable for scenarios such as pollution source monitoring, industrial wastewater, and municipal sewage.

 

Working Principle:

1) When the TOC total organic carbon analyzer uses pure oxygen as the carrier gas, a combination of UV persulfate and hydroxyl radical oxidation is used to oxidize the organic substances in water, and carbon dioxide concentration is measured using NDIR to complete TOC determination in water.

2) When the TOC total organic carbon analyzer uses instrument air as the carrier gas, it uses UV persulfate oxidation to oxidize organic substances in the water, and uses NDIR to measure carbon dioxide concentration, thereby completing TOC measurement in water.

 

Instrument Features:

1) The QL3580 TOC Total Organic Carbon Analyzer is specially developed and designed for the pollution source market, accurately measuring the organic matter content at the pollution source discharge outlet.

2) Equipped with TOC/COD conversion function, enabling the QL3580 TOC Total Organic Carbon Analyzer to accurately measure organic matter content in water.

3) TOC Total Organic Carbon Analyzer Low maintenance cost: 4mm inner diameter sample injection pipeline with built-in flow cell, no sample pretreatment required, saving pretreatment costs.

4) The TOC measurement process does not use alkaline reagents, eliminating measurement interference caused by carbon dioxide dissolving into alkaline reagents, and effectively reducing the difficulty for operators to prepare chemicals.

5) User-friendly human-machine interface: The TOC Total Organic Carbon Analyzer is equipped with a high-definition touchscreen, making data downloading and software updates convenient. The multi-level management mode makes it easy for users to manage their instruments.
