Product Overview:

The HMA-TMN Total Manganese Online Analyzer is a new generation heavy metal monitoring solution launched by Hashe, using advanced colorimetric spectrophotometry to achieve precise and continuous monitoring of total manganese content in water bodies. With its outstanding reagent economy, low-maintenance design, and intelligent operating interface, this instrument provides reliable heavy metal pollution monitoring methods for surface water, industrial wastewater, and other scenarios, supporting environmental supervision and industrial process control.

 

Working Principle:

The instrument uses colorimetric spectrophotometry for detection. The sample is first added with a digestion reagent, then pumped to a high-temperature digestion unit for high-temperature digestion. The total manganese in the sample is dissolved into divalent manganese ions. The divalent manganese ions in the sample react with formaldehyde oxime in a slightly alkaline solution, forming a brown colored complex. Spectrophotometry is measured at a wavelength of 470 nm. The concentration of the sample is determined based on the initial color of the sample and the degree of color change after adding the chromogenic agent.

Application Areas:

Online monitoring of surface water, industrial wastewater (such as electrolytic manganese wastewater), and total manganese at sewage plant inlets and discharges.

  • Industrial wastewater monitoring

    It is especially suitable for online manganese pollution monitoring at wastewater discharge outlets in industries such as electrolytic manganese, metallurgy, and chemicals.

  • Municipal sewage monitoring

    Used for heavy metal discharge supervision at the inlet and outlet of wastewater treatment plants to ensure compliant discharge.

  • Surface water environment monitoring

    Suitable for real-time monitoring of manganese pollution in surface water bodies such as rivers and lakes.
