Product Overview or Working Principle:

The HACH American Sigma 950 series water sampler features the precision, simplicity, flexibility, reliability, and cost-effectiveness you care about, suitable for timed and spaced volumetric sampling and proportional flow sampling. The AS950 series automatic water quality samplers also meet higher sampling requirements: such as monitoring overflow in sewers where rainwater and sewage merge occur, monitoring stormwater drainage outlets, conducting biological monitoring, or conducting water quality studies.

The AS950 water quality automatic sampler is seamlessly connected to the automatic sampling system CYQ-310H and communicates via digital interfaces, storing exceeding water samples in the retention unit (compliant with HJ/T 372-2007).

Application Industries:

The American Sigma 950 series samplers include three designs: portable automatic water samplers, refrigerated samplers, and all-weather samplers, mainly used in wastewater sampling, specimen collection, industrial pretreatment sampling, environmental monitoring, rainwater sampling, and other industries.

Instrument Features:

1) Sampling is now effortless and effortless

The AS950 series automatic water quality sampler can be designed with a sample mixing program and operates automatically.

2) Convenient data transmission

The AS950 water sampler is a rare product on the market that can upload and download data via USB, and can copy the program to another sampler.

3) Simple and intuitive operation

The AS950 water quality sampler features an ultra-large full-color display and an intuitive user interface, allowing all programs in the menu to be shown on the same screen without scrolling menus, supporting error-free operation.

4) Easy maintenance and low cost

The AS950 water quality automatic sampler features a spring-type roller design, which extends service life and reduces maintenance costs; Easily pick up and replace desiccants and pump tubing without any tools; It can also be quickly visually inspected through the sturdy transparent pump cover.

5) Reliable sampling process

The program status screen can display alarm status, sample loss, and program progress in real time, enabling faster and more convenient troubleshooting.

6) Compact or discrete sampling can be converted on-site

The AS950 portable water sampler can quickly switch between composite and discrete sampling during field operation.

Technical Specifications
Portable Sampler
Dual program Can run up to two sampling programs sequentially, in parallel, or based on weekly daily worksheets, enabling a single sampler to have multiple sampling capabilities
Sampling mode "Sampling methods: time weighting, traffic weighting, schedule, traffic table, event triggering
Distribution: single mixed samples, multi-bottle mixes, discrete samples, single multi-bottles, single-bottle multi-bottle, or single-type multi-bottle and single-bottle multi-bottle combinations"
Running mode Continuous or intermittent
Status screen Displays program operation steps, whether any samples are missing, when the next sample will be sampled, remaining samples, number of recorded channels, last measurement time, available memory, available channels, whether an alarm is triggered, alarm trigger interval, active sensor and cabinet temperature, and so on
Alarm Alarm information is displayed on the status screen and can also be recorded in the diagnostic alarm log. Alarms can be set for system diagnostic alarms and recording alarms, such as program completion, sampling termination, sampling omission, or full bottle capacity. Channel alarms are alarms for recorded measured values (channels), such as pH value, liquid level, and power supply voltage
Manual sampling Start sampling independently of the ongoing sampling program
Automatically shuts down " Multi-bottle mode: After the arm is fully rotated (except for selecting continuous mode).
Mixing mode: After all preset samples have been transferred to the mixing container, the sample count ranges from 1 to 999, or a full bottle."
Sample volume Can be programmed in increments of 10 milliliters (0.34 ounces), ranging from 10 to 10,000 milliliters (3.38 ounces to 2.6 gallons).
sampling interval "You can choose a single increment from 1~9,999 flow pulses (instantaneous contact closure for about 25 milliseconds or 5~12V DC pulses; Optional 4-20mAh interface), or about 1 to 9999 minutes, with increments of about 1 minute
Set point sampling trigger If a flow sensor, pH/temperature sensor, or other external detection device is installed, sampling will be triggered after exceeding the set limit range
data record "Sample history: can store up to 4,000 various data entries, including sample timestamps, bottle numbers, and sample status (completed, bottle full, flushing error, user abortion, dispensing arm error, pump failure, purge failure, sampling timeout, power failure, and low main battery power).
Measurement: Up to 325,000 selected measurement channel data can be stored, with data stored at preset recording intervals
Event Log: can store up to 2,000 records. It can record various types of data, including power start, power failure, firmware update, pump failure, distribution arm error, low memory battery capacity, low main battery power, user opening, user shutdown, program start, program recovery, program pause, program completed, sample picking, changes in tube requirements, sensor communication errors, cooling failures, heating failures, thermal error corrections, and more."
