Product Overview:

The Titralab®1000 series automatic potentiometric titrator is a type of trace moisture analyzer (also known as the Karl Fischer moisture analyzer), capable of titrating potentiometric titration for acid-base, redox, precipitation, and complexation.

Working Principle:

The Titralab®1000 Series fully automatic potentiometric titrator is designed based on the principle of potentiometric methods for capacity analysis. This potentiometric titrator selects an appropriate indicator electrode and reference electrode to form a working battery with the test solution. As the titrant is added, a chemical reaction occurs, causing the concentration of the measured ion to change continuously, and the indicator electrode potential also changes accordingly. Near the titration endpoint, the concentration of the measured ion undergoes a sudden change, causing a sudden jump in the electrode potential. Therefore, the titration endpoint can be determined based on the jump in electrode potential.

The Titralab®1000 Series automatic potentiometric titrators are suitable for fields such as chemical, petrochemical, cosmetics, biotechnology, food and beverage, environment, surface treatment, and electroplating.

The Titralab®1000 series fully automatic potentiometric titrators are equipped with TIM854/856 trace moisture analyzers and also feature constant pH/mV titration. By monitoring the dropping of acids and bases, the reaction system is maintained at a specific pH/mV value. It is widely used in biology and pharmaceuticals, especially in enzyme activity, sustained-release pharmacokinetic measurement, and series of reactions requiring constant pH/mV values.

The TIM9XX series rapid moisture analyzer also features wireless RFID technology, which can automatically identify information related to the titrant.
