working principle
The acid is added to lower the pH and the inorganic carbon is purged in the form of CO2. Detection of total inorganic carbon (TIC). The patented secondary advanced oxidation technology (TSAO) (US Patent No. 6623974 B1 23) achieves complete and complete oxidation of the sample, including the conversion of organic carbon to CO2. The pH of the sample is lowered again, CO2 is purged out and measured by the specially developed NDIRCO2 detector. The results are displayed in total organic carbon (TOC).
